Chemistry Sets

Sooner or later, all kids want a chemistry set. It’s a very good idea to give them something safe before they start experimenting with things they find under the sink! At the company, we have a great selection of chemistry sets appropriate for all age levels.

My First Chemistry Set is best for kids aged four and up. It includes a microscope and activities from the GEMS Science Series, developed at UC Berkeley. Children learn to observe and compare, predict outcomes, draw conclusions, and make inferences, among other skills. This is an excellent introduction to scientific inquiry, and a lot of fun, too!

Our Elementary Chemistry Set, for ages 10 and up, contains 20 chemicals and instructions for 1,500 possible experiments! The bottles, droppers and “experiment dishes” in this set are designed to be spill-proof and easy for young hands to use. Chemicals are just strong enough to achieve correct reactions, and safety glasses are included. This set was developed by scientists at Princeton for the Smithsonian Institute.

Chemistry Experiment Kits C1000, C2000 and C3000 have won the Gold Award from Parent’s Choice. The C1000 contains 75 experiments, including surface tension, effects of chemical reactions on electricity, and much more. C2000 contains a guide to 250 experiments, covering such topics as food chemistry and measuring pH. C3000 contains professional grade equipment to perform 360 experiments, including chromatography and building a fire extinguisher. These chemistry sets are unsurpassed for introducing a knowledge of scientific principles in fun and fascinating ways.
